Delhi Daredevils captain Gautam Gambhir won the toss and invited Rajasthan Royals batsmen to bat first. Again it was Ajinkya Rahane’s captain knock of 45 runs which build the inning but Sanju Samson and Jos buttler scored quick 37 and 29 runs respectively as DD posted 153-5 in 17.5 overs before rain delayed the game. Rain played the villain role for Delhi Daredevils as they got the revised target of 71 runs in 6 overs to chase.

Coming to the chase, Delhi Daredevils needed something special so they tried Glen Maxwell to open the inning with Colin Munro but start was horror for DD as Colin Munro run out of very first ball of the chase as they manage to score only 60 runs in 6 overs with the loss of 4 wickets and DLS method helped Rajasthan Royals to win the match by 10 runs.
