India won the toss and opted to bowl first, that was really a good decision and bringing back Ravindra Jadeja in playing eleven was even more effective and tricky. India’s new pace battery duo Bhuvneshwar  Kumar and Jasprit Bumrah are as dangerous as effective for opponent that openers are rarely find any way to hit them out and stay at the crease, the same happened in this match also Bangladeshi openers found it too difficult and got out cheaply and the rest damage done by Ravindra Jadeja who took 4 wickets. Bhuvi and Bumrah also took 3 wickets each and Bangladesh all-out on 173 runs only. Mehidy Hasan was the top scorer who made 42 runs.

In the chase Indian openers provided solid start and built a partnership of 63 runs. Indian captain and opener Rohit Sharma was not out till the end and made 83 runs to provide India an easy win of 7 wickets.
