Not every IPL match you see like this, I mean, it was a complete match in terms of bowling, batting, wickets, excitement and much more. With every matches the expectation of ipl matches is increasing tremendously.
CSK captain MS Dhoni invited RCB batsman to bat after winning the toss in high scoring encounter at power packed Bangalore stadium. Quinton de Kock(53 runs) and Virat Kohli(18 runs) provided a solid start before Kohli got out in 5th over. After wicket of Kohli the showman AB de Villiers joined Quinton de Kock and duo started hitting CSK bowlers and both completed their half century. Quinton de Kock made a solid 53 runs and ABD hit 8 big sixes as he smashed 68 runs in 30 balls before getting out at crucial moment of the match.
The duo incomplete work was done by Mandeep Singh who score 32 runs in 17 balls before being out as 100th wicket of Umesh Yadav in IPL history. A batting collapse at the end didn’t prevent RCB to go past 200 runs and they set the target of 207 runs for CSK batsmen.
Silent Killer MS “Cool” Dhoni
The chase was not looking as solid as expected until MS Dhoni reached the middle of crease after the early wickets of opener Shane Watson and middle order collapse. MS Dhoni build the inning with in form CSK batsman Ambati Rayudu, once they set at the crease; the target looked easy which at one point read 100 runs needed in last 7 overs. Ambati Rayudu played a spectacular inning of 82 runs in 53 runs and it was king of finisher MS Dhoni who started hitting sixes(7) until he hit the final six of the inning which sealed the match and CSK won the match by 5 wickets with 2 balls remaining.
